Egg Appam is a variation of the traditional appam where a whole egg is cracked into the center of the appam while it is cooking. The egg gets cooked along with the appam, creating a delicious combination of flavors. It is a popular breakfast dish in Kerala and is often served with coconut chutney or spicy tomato chutney. The appam is made using the same fermented rice batter as the traditional appam, and the egg is added just before flipping the appam.
