Ancient Aztec kitchens were an integral part of Aztec households. They were typically located in a separate building or a designated area within the house. Adding a dedicated pasta-making station to an ancient Aztec kitchen would have been an interesting concept. While pasta as we know it today was not part of ancient Aztec cuisine, they did have a type of flatbread called 'tlaxcalli' made from corn or maize. Having a designated area for making tlaxcalli or experimenting with pasta-making techniques would have added versatility to the ancient Aztec kitchen.
