In the center of Plaza de España stands the Monument to Cervantes, dedicated to the famous Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes. The monument features a statue of Cervantes surrounded by characters from his most famous work, Don Quixote. It is a tribute to one of Spain's greatest literary figures.
