Rava Appam is a quick and easy version of the traditional appam. It is made by using semolina (rava) instead of rice to make the batter. The semolina is mixed with yogurt and allowed to rest for a few minutes. The batter is then cooked in the appam pan until golden brown. Rava Appam has a slightly crispy texture and can be enjoyed with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
