Select a well-draining potting mix for your indoor pineapple plantation. A mix that consists of equal parts of peat moss, perlite, and vermiculite works well. Avoid using heavy soils that retain too much moisture, as this can lead to root rot. Ensure that the soil pH is slightly acidic, around 5.5-6.5.
