On your second day, take a day trip to the nearby city of Tarragona, located just a short drive from Salou. Explore the ancient Roman ruins, including the impressive Tarragona Amphitheatre and the Roman Circus. Visit the Tarragona Cathedral, a stunning example of Gothic architecture, and take a walk through the charming old town, with its narrow streets and historic buildings. Enjoy a traditional Catalan lunch at one of the local restaurants, and then spend the afternoon relaxing at one of the beautiful beaches in Tarragona. In the evening, return to Salou and indulge in some shopping at the various boutiques and souvenir shops in the town center.
