The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood is a magnificent Russian Orthodox church located in the heart of St. Petersburg. It was built on the site where Emperor Alexander II was assassinated in 1881. The church is known for its stunning exterior adorned with colorful onion domes and intricate mosaics.
