Paneer Gulab Jamuns are made using paneer (Indian cottage cheese) instead of khoya. The paneer is mashed and mixed with flour and a small amount of baking soda to make the dough. The rest of the process, including deep-frying and soaking in sugar syrup, remains the same. Paneer Gulab Jamuns have a slightly different texture and taste compared to the traditional ones, but they are equally delicious.
