Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the Lake of the Returned Sword, is a picturesque lake located in the heart of Hanoi. Legend has it that Emperor Le Loi was given a magical sword by a turtle in the lake, which he used to drive out the Chinese invaders. Today, the lake is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Surrounding the lake are beautiful gardens, pagodas, and the iconic red bridge leading to the Ngoc Son Temple.
