In addition to natural sunlight, provide adequate artificial lighting for your indoor herb garden. Use fluorescent grow lights or LED grow lights to supplement the natural light, especially during the winter months when daylight hours are shorter. Position the lights about 6-12 inches above the herbs for optimal growth.
